April 17, 2021
Cerra exited Sunday's Round 5 match against Adelaide due to an ankle injury.
ANALYSIS
The severity of the injury remains unclear, so Cerra's status for Round 6 next week is up in the air. Mitchell Crowden subbed in as the replacement for Fremantle.
Mark Keane
Handed one-match ban
DCollingwood Magpies
Suspension
April 17, 2021

MBrisbane Lions
Groin
April 17, 2021
Berry suffered an adductor injury during Saturday's 102-45 win over Essendon, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Berry has already dealt with hamstring issues this season and will likely be on the sidelines with another muscular problem if he can't past tests by Round 6. If he can stay healthy for more than a week, he could be worth some attention. For now, there are much more reliable players from the Lions.
Jordan Ridley
Picks up concussion against Lions
DEssendon Bombers
Concussion
April 17, 2021
Ridley suffered a concussion during Saturday's 102-45 loss to Brisbane, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Ridley will be out for the next 12 days while he enters the league's concussion protocol, and that will keep him out for Round 6. He'll be worth monitoring when he returns, as he's one of the most valuable fantasy defenders in the league and recorded no fewer than 28 disposals over the three rounds before picking up this injury.
Bailey Williams
Injures shoulder in win
DWestern Bulldogs
Shoulder
April 17, 2021
Williams suffered a shoulder injury during Saturday's 118--56 win over Gold Coast, according to his team's official website.
ANALYSIS
Williams has seen his production drop in every week since Round 1 and he recorded 14 disposals and one mark before picking up this injury against the Suns. He'll have to get his shoulder checked out before his status can be confirmed in Round 6.
Mark O'Connor

DGeelong Cats
Undisclosed
April 17, 2021

Jake Kelly
Game day decision
DAdelaide Crows
Calf
April 17, 2021
Kelly will be a game day decision due to calf soreness for Sunday's match against Freemantle, according to assistant coach James Rahilly.
ANALYSIS
Kelly has played in three of the four rounds this season, with 14.3 disposals and 4 marks per match to his name. He's only been named as an interchange for this match so there's a chance he wouldn't have much to contribute in either case. If left out of the final lineup, Kelly should be fully healthy within a week or two at the most.
Laitham Vandermeer
Out for Round 5
DWestern Bulldogs
Undisclosed
April 16, 2021
Vandermeer was a late scratch for Round 5 against Gold Coast.

James Rowbottom
Withheld from Round 5 lineup
MSydney Swans
Knee
April 16, 2021
Rowbottom (knee) will not return to the lineup for Round 5.
ANALYSIS
Rowbottom was considered a candidate to make it back this round but will instead suit up for the VFL side to get some run under his belt before making his return to the AFL squad. Next week seems like a logical target for his inclusion in the AFL lineup.
Charlie Ballard
Won't play Saturday
DGold Coast Suns
Ankle
April 16, 2021
Ballard (ankle) won't make it back for Saturday's match versus Western.
ANALYSIS
Ballard was deemed a test leading up to the contest but was ultimately unable to get right in time to take part. He doesn't seem too far from a return, however, which is good news for the Suns' backline.
Jordan de Goey

FCollingwood Magpies
Concussion
April 16, 2021
De Goey will sit out Round 6 after suffering a concussion and a broken nose during Friday's loss to the West Coast Eagles.
ANALYSIS
He'll be forced to miss at least one game after being struck in the face during Friday's contest. De Goey will need to clear the concussion protocol to have a chance of taking the field for Round 7.
Brody Mihocek
Picks up shoulder injury
FCollingwood Magpies
Shoulder
April 16, 2021
Mihocek hurt his shoulder during Friday's 103-76 loss to the West Coast Eagles, according to Nathan Schmook of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Mihocek isn't as important a loss as Jordan de Goey or Jeremy Howe, but he's still another reliable piece to suffer an injury during this match. He still managed to score twice and log five behinds in this game, so he'll remain a forward with average value as long as he doesn't end up on the sidelines for too long.
Jeremy Howe
Hurts hamstring in loss
DCollingwood Magpies
Hamstring
April 16, 2021
Howe suffered a hamstring injury during Friday's 103-76 loss to the West Coast Eagles, according to Nathan Schmook of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Howe would be a sizable loss for the Pies if he's out long-term, though a hamstring injury could keep him out for as little as two weeks. He's scored as many as 113 fantasy points in a single game and will remain reliable if he can stay above 20 disposals and contribute a few tackles each week.
Jordan de Goey
Struck in face
FCollingwood Magpies
Head
April 16, 2021
De Goey suffered a head injury during Friday's 103-76 loss to West Coast Eagles, according to Nathan Schmook of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
De Goey was one of three major injuries picked up by the Pies in this match as they slip further from the top of the ladder. In de Goey's case, he'll hope that he's at least avoided a concussion, as even a facial fracture is manageable with a mask. He's now scored seven goals through five rounds and it remains to be seen when he will play next.
Zac Fisher
Out another month
MCarlton Blues
Ankle
April 15, 2021
Fisher is now expected to return in a month after undergoing another operation, according to Head of Football Brad Lloyd. Zac (Fisher) was originally expected to return in the next three to four weeks, we now expect this will extend that recovery time by a month, however it will enable a better medium and long term outcome which is really important for both Zac and the Club in regard to this season and moving forward."
ANALYSIS
Fisher will need to wait until May for his next chance to play this season after undergoing another operation. He's scored one goal and recorded 36 disposals through two appearances in 2021.
Jack Silvagni
Now out for next month
FCarlton Blues
Shoulder
April 15, 2021
Silvagni is expected to miss the next month after undergoing surgery on his shoulder, according to Head of Football Brad Lloyd. "Although we would have liked Jack (Silvagni) to be available for this weekend, we feel this is the best approach to ensure he can return to the side this season and contribute to the high level he already has in the opening rounds,"
ANALYSIS
Silvagni should be available for selection in mid-May if he says on schedule. So far, he's scored two goals and made seven marks through three games.
Bayley Fritsch
Out with fractured hand
FMelbourne Demons
Hand
April 15, 2021
Fritsch suffered a fractured hand in training and is expected to miss up to two weeks after undergoing surgery.
ANALYSIS
Fritsch has had a solid start to the season with 10 goals in four matches and 6.3 marks per game. He can provide reliable value from the forward position and could improve even more if he can up his disposal numbers when he returns.
Brendon Ah Chee
Missing another round
MWest Coast Eagles
Hamstring
April 15, 2021
Ah Chee (hamstring) will miss Round 5 against Collingwood.
ANALYSIS
Ah Chee picked up an injury in Round 3 and has been a test for a couple of weeks. He'll be on standby until he can play at either the WAFL or AFL level.
Mark Hutchings
Not in AFL list
MWest Coast Eagles
Knee
April 15, 2021
Hutchings (knee) didn't make the team sheet for Round 5 against Collingwood.
ANALYSIS
Hutchings was a test heading into this game but didn't find his name on the list. If he plays in the WAFL match this weekend, he'll be cleared from the injury list and be even closer to featuring at the AFL level.
Shannon Hurn
Out with calf problem
DWest Coast Eagles
Calf
April 15, 2021
Hurn will miss Friday's Round 5 game against Collingwood due to a calf injury.
ANALYSIS
Turn has scored at least 95 fantasy points in his three completed appearances this season but seemed to pick up an injury early in Round 4. He'll try to keep up his high-value production whenever he's able to return from this injury, which appears to be minor at the moment.
Liam Ryan
To miss Round 5
FWest Coast Eagles
Shin
April 15, 2021
Ryan will miss Friday's Round 5 match against Collingwood due to a shin issue and a scan will be performed in the coming days, according to GM Craig Vozzo.
ANALYSIS
Ryan has scored six goals in four matches this season but his value is limited by recording less than 10 disposals on two occasions. While he's out, he'll hope that this injury doesn't keep him on the sidelines for more than a few weeks at most.
Jack Petruccelle
Out with hamstring injury
FWest Coast Eagles
Hamstring
April 15, 2021
Petruccelle will miss Thursday's Round 5 matchup with Collingwood due to a hamstring injury. He's likely to miss two-three weeks after scans revealed a minor strain, according to GM Craig Vozzo.
ANALYSIS
Petruccelle doesn't provide high-end fantasy value but did score four goals in Round 4 against Saint Kilda. He'll hope to return in early May if he stays on track with his recovery.
Jeremy Cameron
Out for Round 5
FGeelong Cats
Hamstring
April 14, 2021
Cameron (hamstring) is set to miss Round 5 against North Melbourne, AFL Ratings reports.
ANALYSIS
Cameron hasn't yet suited up for the Cats this year due to a hamstring strain he re-injured before the start of the season. It appeared that he was nearing a return for Round 5, so he could have a fair shot to return April 23 versus West Coast.
